I didn't know you could do that!

Topic: Publishing a document Library to Outlook

SharePoint has a boatload of features that are both cool and useful. This is one that has been around for long time but you rarely see or hear about. First, you click on a document library main link in order to surface the Library tab. If you land on a team page that has library, click the library name in order go to the page that is just that library.

Now you can click on the Library tab and then click Connect to Outlook

You'll be asked to approve a couple of screens. Launch Outlook and login when prompted. In a few minutes, you'll see documents in Outlook! Makes a great way to view and edit offline.

When you are online again, you can open the document and you will automatically be promoted to Update the online version. Pretty cool huh! http://www.office365answers.com/Portals/0/2016/teamsite%20in%20outlook.jpg
